E Komo Mai!

Come and join us for a day
and be a part of our Ohana (Family).

My name is Kale. My grandmother and great grandparents were born and raised in Kalalau Valley on the Napali Coast. I have been hiking, hunting and exploring throughout the islands since 1975 when I was just thirteen years old.

Besides guiding, I have been building, rebuilding and maintaining trails from a conservation aspect since 1985. I have worked for the D.L.N.R. (Department of Land and Natural Resources) Forestry and Wildlife Division, as well as the Parks Division in Hawaii.

Then I moved to northern California after hurricane Iniki in '92 and worked for different government and private agencies doing conservation work.

My wife Tanya has been a professional dancer for many years. And since 1999 she has been working with me in my conservation efforts so we can continue to share our Island's beauty for many years to come.

When you join us, $5.00 from every person goes to the conservation of trails, etc. This is our home. This is our way of life. We hope you will come see it, feel it and live it with us.
